JUDGE BLACKBURN ON TIM COLE'S CASE
"I've been doing this for more than 30 years and this is the saddest case that I've ever seen," Baird said, praising Cole's integrity for refusing to claim he did the crime so he could receive a lesser sentence. "I'm so sorry that the powers that be in Lubbock, Texas, do not have one ounce of that integrity."

Blackburn saved his harshest words for after the hearing, and for Judge Jim Bob Darnell, who prosecuted the case in 1986. Residents had been duped into believing in an infallible system they could not question, he said.
"I hope this case begins to open their eyes to just how corrupt and wrong and unlawful this whole system is," Blackburn said. "They should be ashamed of Judge Darnell, who should not be allowed to go to that courthouse. We deserve people with integrity on the bench instead of cowards."

 Govt. seeks to reverse Ted Stevens' conviction

By DEVLIN BARRETT and NEDRA PICKLER, Associated Press Writers Devlin Barrett And Nedra Pickler, Associated Press Writers – WASHINGTON – Faced with embarrassing revelations about withheld evidence, the Justice Department on Wednesday moved to reverse the conviction of former Alaska Sen. Ted Stevens, who lost his bid for re-election just days after a jury found that he had lied about gifts and home renovations. Justice Department lawyers asked a judge to dismiss the indictment against Stevens and toss out his conviction — effectively killing their own courtroom victory with a shocking admission of misbehavior* by prosecutors.

I recorded my conversation with an investigator with the District Attorney Office.  I tried to get them to correct their unlawful actions done to me.  Hear how it went down before I met with the DA.  I have now discovered that this investigator may be the same person that set me up and Tim Cole (http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=94937062 ) as well as Damon Richardson. (Damon is off death row now and may soon be released with a movie to follow.)  During this conversation my studio was jammed by a very strange static sound which I did not remove form the conversation you can hear for yourself.  Also there was a radio playing that may give audio technicians the time or date of the recording by the news cast heard in the back ground.  Hear me get the run around before I met with Matt Powell. They will not face the music for they are cowards.  I will continue my fight for JUSTICE.
