This is a sham and unthinkable, there is a better place for us to store our water. It is high in the Rockies but not too far from down stream Amarillo. If we had invested there, when this place was first discovered and made known to me in 1976, we would not have this problem today. We have been duped and we are being ripped off, putting our future in doubt.

AUSTIN JUDGE WARNS LUBBOCK RESIDENTS FOOD FOR THOUGHT Govt. seeks to reverse Ted Stevens' conviction By DEVLIN BARRETT and NEDRA PICKLER, Associated Press Writers Devlin Barrett And Nedra Pickler, Associated Press Writers – WASHINGTON – Faced with embarrassing revelations about withheld evidence, the Justice Department on Wednesday moved to reverse the conviction of former Alaska Sen. Ted Stevens, who lost his bid for re-election just days after a jury found that he had lied about gifts and home renovations. Justice Department lawyers asked a judge to dismiss the indictment against Stevens and toss out his conviction — effectively killing their own courtroom victory with a shocking admission of misbehavior* by prosecutors.

I recorded my conversation with an investigator with the District Attorney Office. I tried to get them to correct their unlawful actions done to me. Hear how it went down before I met with the DA. I have now discovered that this investigator may be the same person that set me up and Tim Cole (http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=94937062 ) as well as Damon Richardson. (Damon is off death row now and may soon be released with a movie to follow.) During this conversation my studio was jammed by a very strange static sound which I did not remove form the conversation you can hear for yourself. Also there was a radio playing that may give audio technicians the time or date of the recording by the news cast heard in the back ground. Hear me get the run around before I met with Matt Powell. They will not face the music for they are cowards. I will continue my fight for JUSTICE.
You WILL HEAR ONLY ONE SIDE OF THE TELEPHONE CONVERSATION...FROM MY SIDE AND THE Detective WILL NOT BE HEARD ON THIS FILE. Again, please allow apologies for the poor quality of this recording it was the only one I had.

Officers had a watchful eye on 3703 40th Street for the entire day, and around 4 p.m. officers seized the pot. Officers say this was not a "nickel and dime" operation but that the amount of pot seized would classify the operation as a "supply" operation. They seized a significant amount of money and upon entering the house found rolls of $20 bills. They also confiscated a money counter and a heat sealer.
Four adults were taken into custody and there were three children in the house. NewsChannel 11 was told Child Protective Services was called to the home and arrangements have been made for the children.
No names have not been released to NewsChannel 11 yet. Officers say the four adults will face 2nd degree felony charges possession of 2 to 500 pounds in a drug free zone.

DPS License Supervisor Arrested In Document Scheme
A supervisor in Texas' drivers license division accused of conspiring to provide identification documents to illegal immigrants was arrested Friday, federal prosecutors said.
Texas Department of Public Safety Lt. Alvaro Ivan Adame, 40, of Wichita Falls, was indicted on a charge of conspiracy to transfer unlawfully issued identification documents, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.
Adame, who has worked for DPS since 1988, has been suspended with pay pending the outcome of the investigation. He was stationed in Wichita Falls and had worked at a Dallas drivers license office for several years, agency spokesman Tom Vinger said.
It was not immediately known if Adame had an attorney who could comment on his case. He was scheduled to appear before a federal magistrate Friday afternoon.
An indictment unsealed Friday alleges that Adame conspired with others to exchange illegally obtained New Mexico identification cards and drivers licenses for Texas ones.

The Sun provides far more energy to Earth each day than the worldwide population currently uses, but directing this energy toward a more useful purpose than heating the ground is a considerable challenge. Though siliconbased cells can effectively convert absorbed light into electricity, the costs associated with isolating and purifying the silicon toward this end remain substantially higher than those associated with fossil fuel-based processes for electricity generation. Wadia et al. have analyzed the relative costs and efficiencies of a wide range of alternative materials for eventual use in solar cells. Specifically, they examined 21 metal oxides, sulfides, selenides, and sundry other inorganic semiconductors in comparison with crystalline and amorphous silicon. Their model considered overall electricity consumption, and so evaluated power-conversion efficiencies of individual cells in the context of comparative fabrication costs for multiple cells. Iron pyrite emerged as an especially favorable option on the basis of its abundance and low extraction cost, with Zn3P2 and copper oxides also showing potential for economical efficiency. -- JSY
