The Song and Dance

It has now become self evident that all I got from the local DA was just a song and dance. Stonewalled and buck passing was the order of the day: never mind the obvious, that there is a curious absence of important files and records. The press has more evidence than these guys can produce, more on that later.  Speaking of production; the October shoot of scenes for the movie on Tulia have been postponed but not shelved.  It is because the star of the movie, Halle Berry, is now expecting, some people never learn.  Heheh just kidding!  (see related articles below)

 Here we go again: The DA's office has been totally reworked since I was there last, riffling thru empty desks while no one was watching and wondering why the hell they would leave me alone in their offices, but that was then and today it was to unriffle what has been done to my family. I was assured there will be an attempt to return my family property and what ever records can be found and released to me legally. I had the good fortune then to see Rob Hobson (good guy)(maybe) and foe of Travis Ware. He was the special appointed prosecutor in the famous trial of the Tulia narc,Tom Coleman. (see more in my blog Injustice on the High Plains.) The movie Tulia is in production now is to be released in 2008.  (Relase date has been revised due to the star, Halle Berry, becoming a Mom.) One can read more about the movie in my blog. The Dallas Morning news did a little write-up (front page above the fold) about Rob Vs Travis: perhaps I can track it down.

Error and Terror 

 Drug case dismissed; defendant framed by informant - Democratic ... 

 

 UPDATE: Murder conspiracy at Gandalf's. After the narcs informed me that they would continue to plant drugs on me until I left town I went to work for KOKE and KEYI Austin, Texas. I was then forced to leave my wife, business and family behind. The narcs knowing by now I was fully dangerous to them; the cover-up that they hatched was a plot to commit murder in my Lubbock house with what I believe was my was my gun. When I asked my wife "where are my guns?" for then I truly needed them, she said "I gave them to the narcs."

The head narc Dan Turner at the Lubbock Sheriff's office and the brother of my defense attorney gave a gun to an informant to give to a Mexican mobster, to shoot and kill Ray Freda (mentioned in the book "Substantial Evidence") in my house. The getaway driver drove him over there and dropped him off. He was wearing three layers of clothing and was to shed them into dumpsites as he ran down the alley after the killings. The getaway car was waiting a few blocks down the alley. Now one must assume the killer would also kill any witnesses, such as my wife and children. The target did not show: he was not there and they left. The whole idea was to frame me again only this time it would be for murder. Tomorrow I meet with Matt Powell at the district attorney's office.  See update above.

  Arrival in Middle-earth As revealed in The Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales, Gandalf the Grey was one of the Maiar of Valinor, a servant of the godlike Valar, and of Ilúvatar (the creator of the universe). In Valinor, he was known as Olórin and was said to be the wisest of the Maiar. He lived in the gardens of Irmo under the tutelage of Nienna, the patron of mercy. When the Valar decided to send the order of the Wizards to Middle-earth in order to counsel and assist all those who opposed Sauron, Olórin was proposed by Manwë. Olórin initially begged leave to be excused as he feared he lacked the strength to face Sauron.In the Order, he had a strained relationship with Saruman, its leader. The order was commanded only to counsel Men, Elves, and Dwarves, and was forbidden to use force to dominate them as Sauron did - a decree Saruman brokeTolkien had a postcard labelled Der Berggeist (German: "the mountain spirit" or "the mountain ghost"), and on the paper cover in which he kept it, he wrote "the origin of Gandalf" at some point. The postcard reproduces a painting of a bearded figure, sitting on a rock under a pine tree in a mountainous setting. He wears a wide-brimmed round hat and a long cloak, and a white fawn is nuzzling his upturned hands. Humphrey Carpenter in his 1977 biography said that Tolkien had bought the postcard during his 1911 holiday in Switzerland. However, Manfred Zimmerman (1983) discovered that the painting was by German artist Josef Madlener and dates to the late 1920s. Carpenter concluded that Tolkien was probably mistaken about the origin of the postcard himself. Tolkien must have acquired the card at some time in the early 1930s, at a time when The Hobbit had already begun to take shape.^{[citation needed]}

The original painting was auctioned at Sotheby's in London on 12 July 2005 for 84,000 GBP.^[1] The previous owner had been given the painting by Madlener in the 1940s and recalled that he had stated the mountains in the background of the painting were the Dolomites.  CharacteristicsThe first description of Gandalf is in the first pages of The Hobbit, dating to the early 1930s. Gandalf's fame is alluded to even before his physical description ("Tales and adventures sprouted up all over the place wherever he went, in the most extraordinary fashion."), directed by the author to the reader, while the protagonist's ("unsuspecting Bilbo's") impression is that of an old man with a staff. He had a tall pointed blue hat, a long grey cloak, a silver scarf over which a white beard hung down below his waist, and immense black boots. (Chapter 1, "An Unexpected Party".) Also in The Hobbit, Tolkien adds that Gandalf has a sharp nose and bushy eyebrows that stuck out beyond the brim of his hat. (Chapter 1, "An Unexpected Party".) Gandalf is a literary Christ-figure. As Tolkein was a devout Catholic, the similarities between the behavior and deeds of Christ and Gandalf cannot be dismissed as coincidence. Gandalf gave his own life to save the Fellowship, and did this by personally fighting a demon from the deepest depths of the earth to the highest points thereof. His death from exhaustion and completion was followed by his resurrection, and temporary return to middle-earth with heightened power and glory.

  

Molecular Switching via Hydrogen Hopping

Large changes in conformation can be expected to change the conductivity of a molecule; in device applications, small changes can help maintain geometries favorable for bonding the molecule to its contacts or allowing it to interact with other switching molecules. Liljeroth et al. (p. 1203) show that the position of the two internal hydrogen atoms on the inner cavity of free-base naphthalocyanine molecules can be switched under cryogenic conditions using the tip of a scanning tunneling microscope (STM). Creation of the new hydrogen tautomer changed the conductance of the molecule. When the molecules were pushed into a chain with the STM tip, a current pulse in an end molecule could induce hydrogen-atom switching in its neighbor. CREDITS: P. Solar Heat Waves

The solar corona is extremely hot gas, extending from the surface of the Sun to millions of kilometers into space. Plasma waves, including incompressible Alfvén waves transmitted along electromagnetic field lines, are thought to be important in heating this gas to temperatures above a million kelvin, but such waves have remained undetected. Tomczyk et al. (p. 1192) have now imaged the Sun and detected the characteristic pattern of Alfvén waves traveling across its surface with a period of about 5 minutes. However, the waves are weaker in strength than predicted, which suggests that other mechanisms are needed to heat the solar corona. CREDITS: TOMCZYK ET AL.
